Articulated water tanks available through brand-new partnership
Hills Machinery launched Hydex USA, whose articulated water tanks are now available in the U.S. Hills Machinery will upfit Hydex articulated water tanks on Rokbak articulated truck chassis at its facility in Wilson, North Carolina, as well as at an upfit center in Seattle. Tanks will also be outfit on other models of new or used articulated truck chassis at both locations, according to Hills Machinery. Hills Machinery says two water tanks matched specifically to Rokbak articulated dump trucks are at the core of the product offering: a 6,000-gallon water tank (AWT6) matched to the 370-hp RA30, and a 9,000-gallon water tank (AWT9) matched to the 444-hp RA40. Tanks can be outfitted on the articulated truck chassis of each customer’s choosing, as Hills Machinery says the design allows for upfit and integration with all major articulated truck manufacturers. The tanks can be outfit on used articulated truck chassis, as well.

Digital platform developed for company’s equipment
Vermeer debuted a digital platform streamlining the management, monitoring and maintenance of its equipment. The VermeerOne platform serves as a central hub where equipment owners can access manuals, warranty information, machine data and dealer support in one interface. According to Vermeer, the digital platform consolidates MyVermeer and the existing Vermeer telematics portal into a single platform delivering enhanced functionality for both connected and nonconnected machines. Vermeer says the new system offers specialized benefits tailored to each equipment type and configuration. For those enrolled in the Vermeer Confidence Plus asset protection program, the platform adds enhanced visibility to program-specific maintenance services, purchase history and remaining resources that are part of their protection plan.

Mounting system improves air cannon efficiency, safety
Martin Engineering introduced a heavy-duty air cannon mounting system that keeps air cannons safely away from super-heated or potentially hazardous areas while offering easy service access. As the company describes, the Martin X-Stand is an organization system that produces clearer walkways and greater maintenance efficiency for a lower cost of operation. Martin Engineering describes the X-Stand as a rugged steel cube frame that comes in three sizes to fit 35-liter, 70-liter and 150-liter air cannon tanks. The company says each cube has a sturdy crossbar frame designed to distribute weight and absorb vibration from the cannon’s firing.
