Motion Industries, a distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts, opened its first Motion Conveyance Solutions shop in Canada.
The new 9,600-sq.-ft. facility, which opened May 1 in Calgary, is equipped with belting technology. The facility offers both standard and custom services, specializing in fluid conveyance, critical moving parts, conveyor belting, hose, rubber parts and field services.
“This new facility reinforces Motion’s commitment to strengthening relationships with our customers in Western Canada,” says Brent Pope, Motion’s senior group vice president for Canada and sales excellence. “By offering specialized services and expanding our reach, we aim to support Alberta’s industries with unmatched quality and expertise.”
The shop joins a network of more than 40 Motion Conveyance Solutions shops operating across the U.S.
“Opening our first Motion Conveyance Solutions shop in Canada is a significant milestone for our company,” says James Howe, president of Motion. “It allows us to better serve the region’s industrial needs while applying our proven capabilities that have driven success across the U.S. market. We are excited to bring greater service excellence and dependability to our Canadian customers.”
