The introduction of e-ticketing platforms transformed how aggregate producers manage their inventories and engage customers.
These platforms continue to be refined, enhancing processes upstream and simplifying activities for end users.
Last summer, for example, Command Alkon launched Material Supply, a solution allowing users to monitor and update stock levels, coordinate material flows and automate back-office processes. Michael Bordelon, global product director at Command Alkon, says Material Supply embodies his company’s commitment to deliver user-friendly technologies that empower customers to streamline operations and maximize efficiencies.”
“Material Supply is the only cloud system on the market that digitally manages 100 percent of raw material receipts and integrates with major batch and dispatch systems to radically change the way producers manage their inventories [and] supply chain, ultimately driving productivity and profitability,” Bordelon says.
As Command Alkon describes, Material Supply transforms how producers manage their inbound material deliveries. By integrating Command Cloud shared tickets, suppliers can share delivery tickets easily, reducing the need for manual and repetitive data entry by plant operators.
Command Alkon says customers can also digitize paper tickets using mobile capture or scanners.
Similarly, FleetWatcher by AlignOps’ e-ticketing platform eliminates paper tickets and the time wasted collecting, tracking and sorting through them. The company says the platform enhances efficiencies by providing the plant, driver, crew and customer with the same ticket data at the same time – whether doing so through FleetWatcher or other software programs.
FleetWatcher by AlignOps e-ticketing integrates with Loadrite, B2W, Viewpoint and other scale programs.
