Attendance at the Georgia Construction Aggregate Association (GCAA) Workshop & Expo has steadily grown in recent years.
Interest in the annual event has grown so much, in fact, that the show moved this year from the Cobb Galleria Centre’s ballroom to a portion of the building’s exhibition hall. This year’s show broke the attendance record set last year (675 attendees), with 767 industry members registering for the show. Additionally, 93 companies exhibited at the show.
Along with being able to accommodate more attendees, the move was made to incorporate equipment on the show floor. Six pieces of heavy equipment were highlighted this year.
Among the displayed equipment at the Feb. 19-21 show were a Cat 982 XE wheel loader, a Superior Industries wash plant, a Komatsu HD605 haul truck, a John Deere loader and an Epiroc drill.
