Liebherr is featuring three pieces of equipment at AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo and World of Asphalt this week in St. Louis.

The company’s showcase includes the L 566 XPower wheel loader, the TA 230 articulated dump truck (ADT) and the R 914 compact crawler excavator.

AGG1 and World of Asphalt are being housed at America’s Center Convention Complex.

As Liebherr describes, the L 566 XPower wheel loader offers “impressive” levels of productivity and versatility that equip operators to handle aggregate, asphalt and pavement projects. The company says the XPower machine concept combines performance, fuel efficiency, robustness and comfort.

With capabilities that provide two types of drives inside the machine design – hydrostatic and mechanical – Liebherr says operators can have faster work cycles, carry heavy material loads and take advantage of arm variations.

The TA 230, meanwhile, is Liebherr’s first ADT for the North American market. Liebherr says the TA 230 provides power, robustness and efficiency for rugged off-road use.

With a range of assistance systems, Liebherr says operators will find enhanced safety, productivity and support through the company’s weighing unit, automatic traction control, hill start assistance, speed maintenance assistant, hard stop and height lift limitations.

Liebherr says the R 914 compact crawler excavator is desirable for narrow projects and jobsites like urban applications and on motorways.
