Granite appoints Miller as executive VP, COO

Granite Construction Inc. has appointed Christopher S. Miller as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective August 4.

Because of Miller’s extensive background holding a number of executive positions at CH2M HILL, President and Chief Executive Officer of Granite James H. Roberts feels that he is an excellent fit for the position.

“Chris is a tremendously talented and seasoned leader with a proven track record of delivering results,” says Roberts. “His extensive industry experience and strong background in operational discipline make him uniquely qualified to oversee Granite’s day-to-day operations.”

As executive vice president and chief operating officer, Miller will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the company and will be working directly with Roberts.
