VA Shore Group acquired Chesapeake Armour Stone & Rip Rap, a privately-held rock and quarry service company based in South Carolina.
Chesapeake Armour Stone & Rip Rap was founded to produce custom armor stone, riprap and large aggregates for marine projects. The company also produces riprap and large stone for erosion control, slope protection, landscape features, security boulders for buildings, parking lots and government installations., serving East Coast customers from Maine to Florida.

Blanton founded Chesapeake Armour Stone with Mike Brown in 2019.
